Been 3 weeks today that i had knee replacement,i'm back on the tractor, working in my shop, and ordering seed for the truck garden. I've taken very little pain pills, the knee hurt worse before surgery than it does now. Of course i'm careful about what i do, so not to reinjure the new knee, but can't believe how much i can already do that i couldn't do 3 weeks ago. I have 2 new knees now and would recommend to anybody with bad knees to get it taken care of.Look out Bees i'm back. Jack

Good to hear Jack.
Dancing with your better half can't be far off! ;D
-
Great to hear the reoprt on your improvement and speedy recovery.
The real test will come when you start lifting those supers packed full to overflowing with honey. I'm sure you'll pass the test with flying colors--but be careful, don't overdo it too soon. ;)

'them girls' will not be safe now! ;D

Great news Jack. nice to be able to get around and do things with out the pain. And being able to quickly get away from the missus when she becomes annoyed with something you have done.
All the best and a continued speedy recovery.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. beekeepers are a strange bunch, although we have never met in person we feel like we are related. 8)I'm not getting to cocky yet, but it's hard to believe how much better i feel to have my legs getting back under me with out the fear of falling or tripping and not be able to catch myself. :-[ Been working in the shop repairing and making new bee equipment, and getting up on the 3020 John Deere to put out hay bales for the cattle, of course the ice and snow we are having makes things a little harder. Jack

Whooo I havent seen too many 3020's with cabs but am hoping yours has one. That or hoping its a LOT warmer down there than it is here!
-
Nope, no cab (sadly), it got above freezing today so we put 6 round bales out. Supposed to get 4" to 5" of snow this weekend and temp. falling on Monday to a daytime high of 4 F . :o Brrrrr Jack
-
Cool, not bad then.. was about 24 here and I put out three round bales, but the old 1086 has a CAB on it ;D

Dang Jack, you de man. It took me four weeks to walk without a walking cane. It was about six weeks before I could get into my tractor, it's a model 5525 with a cab. It's good to see you doing so well. I have one knee to go. It will probably get done this summer.
