Every market I continue to "pound" away at customers who ask about the "difference" in the honey on my table. Some of it is starting to granulate, but I have them interspersed with freshly bottled jars that are really clear. I go through the whole spiel about how all honey granulates depending on floral source and length of time, yadda, yadda, and explain to them that it is a sure sign of being "natural". I go into explaining how easy it is to re-liquify (directions on the back of my label).
As an interesting social experiment this past weekend I kept track of the jars on the table and counted the numbers of clear versus granulated (some granulation) that were sold. I allowed folks to pick the jars they wanted from my display. Near the end of the market all I had left were partially granulated jars as almost all the clear ones were cherry picked, despite the information available.
I guess sometimes human nature is a difficult thing to alter.

I have seen the same thing Perry.
I have taken jars and re liquified them, and set them right beside jars that had some crystalization, and THEN told people exactly what i did, and they STILL took the clear jars..... ???

If you offer me a product that needs work, and the same product at the same price that the work has been done, I will take the finished one, too. Why would anyone take the one that still needs the work done to it?
