Any dog that can stand up and look me squarely in the eye...   wouldnt have to decide who the boss was..  I'd FEED him before he decided what to eat on his own!!

He's so beautitul! Do you tend to his nails? As my dogs get older and they sleep more I use a dremel with a dog nail attachment to keep their nails down.

hes due for a trimming I use regular dog nail clippers.  If you look close my daughter made a sissy out of him and painted his nails red but has worn off

I prefer to use a good set of clippers, but my last two dogs can't stand the 'snap' sound of the clippers.

Thanks tho, I was wondering how to handle nails on a dane. Of course if the dane is walked everyday the nails stay trimmed.
