WOW, you look young for your age. ;D :D

What is that beast? Did it have a tracking collar on it?

I'm sorry about the picture. I intended to send a picture of some wild flowers, but somewhere along the way my fingers hit the wrong key.
Baker, that thing is a wild pig, often called feral pigs. This is about a 350 pound boar, male pig. I shoot and trap about 100 of them per year. If I didn't they there would be a pig about every ten feet. :) They are a pain in the rear.

Lazy, one night this spring, a feral hog made a fatal waltz into my sights. It was eating pecans under the trees about 150 ft behind the house. We have a night vision scope for their next visit. :-)

Lazy that makes me really regretful of not being able to take advantage of your offer to spend some time in Texas back earlier. I am hoping for next year. I am still appreciative of the offer.

I'm late replying to this, as I worked several days after this posting. I intend to be here next year, the Good Lord willing. As they say on the TV show: "come on down."
