The guest we had at our last bee meeting was a horticulturist and she had some very good things to say. Apparently, the trend is to plant the "urban meadow" or plant species of plants that are local, native in nature. The look is not the trimmed, manicured look of the past, but a more country, natural look. She said that many landscape companies were putting in areas like that. It was pretty interesting. I hope the trend continues.
