Just wanted to share that I finally have a hive that may last through the winter!

Looks like you might have a decent honey crop as well. You had your share of adversity starting out, no doubt about it, but you slogged through it and should start seeing the results of your efforts.

Thanks for the kind words Perry... Would not have fared nearly as well if it weren't for this forum and the people like you on it!
The supers were just put back on for the girls to clean. I Ended up with 157 lbs extracted, and took 5 frames for comb honey.
I am quite happy. Tomorrow I will remove supers not wanted for winter and start OA treatments

It rained four times today. Between rains there were small intervals of sunshine. Does it bother anyone that the one hive has EXTENSIVE bearding. It was about 81 degrees between rains.
