Depends on what all its needing in work. It could be a diamond in the rough or a pig in the poke
-
The tires and wheels are worth 500. Not worth 1.00 to you if you don't want to work on it extensively.
If in good shape all around, it would be worth about 3000 here.

Just depends on what is wrong with it, could just be minor stuff to a cracked block or head.
Question is........how hard are parts to get in NS?
and
How much time and effort are you willing to put into the tractor?
$500 is not bad for a parts tractor if you are needing it.

I agree with the rest of them, but $500.00 isn't much to pay even for a parts tractor anymore, unless it's been in a fire? Of course you can't count your labor you put in it, and if you hire the work done, You will br in the hole. ??? Jack

I can find a part for a 1923 hit and miss engine easier than a part for a 1956 ford tractor. If it works and you need it. The price is right. Got a good mechanic buddy?
-
We seem to have lots of the older tractors, particularly this vintage, around here, not sure why.
-
www.reliableaftermarketpartsinc.com or
www.just8ns.com have about all the parts for the old fords.
-
Iddee, that's the ticket for old parts.
