Title: Winter Bee yard photo contest
Post by: Bakersdozen on January 19, 2016, 09:20:07 am
Bee Culture magazine is hosting a photo contest and the subject is winter bee yards.  https://www.facebook.com/BeeCultureMagazine/app/451684954848385/ (https://www.facebook.com/BeeCultureMagazine/app/451684954848385/)
Some of you have already posted pictures of your snow covered apiaries on this forum so you might as well enter.  The popular vote winner will receive a year subscription to the digital version of Bee Culture magazine.  The editor's choice will receive a copy of The ABC & XYZ of Bee Culture. (Possible magazine cover?)  The deadline is January 31.
I am thinking dramatic, white stuff covered, wind swept hives or bee trees!

I'm trying to remember where I might have seen some of those!

My votes will go to Perry for last year when his bees were non existent under snow, looked like a nice snow drifted meadow.

And of course Glocks Apiary Work Art, can't fully remember, but I think his apiary had some snow as well.
