Title: National Geographic Documentary
Post by: apisbees on February 27, 2016, 04:23:19 pm
Here is a long video lacking on commentary and explanation but he does demonstrate the use of a hive jack and bee escape at 18:45 of the video.
I Know if you have tapered hand holds you will need to adjust it to jack from between supers.

I am surprised that National Geographic released this as a  Documentary

Thanks for posting the link Apisbees!
Finally got around to watching it last night, and thought it was great! Very interesting to see how he manages his hives.
That's the first time I'd heard of anyone putting fabric on top of the hive like that?
