Post by: Mikey N.C. on March 21, 2016, 03:16:24 pm
A beek friend ,just got back from Campeche, Yucatan, Mexico. Said when they visited the pyramids the guide said the Mayan's were accomplished beeks using the log hive method, guide said the honey bees didn't have stingers, my buddy asked more Q but guide couldn't answer.  I figured I'd ask here. He also got 2 bottles of honey liquor made by the Mayan's, is this Mead ? Said it has a liquorice or anise taste.
PS. Don't worry iddee an CBT I'll bring some next month :eusa_dance:

Sounds nice, but probably not commercially viable if they don't collect and store abundant honey. Great as pollinators I bet.
