I was surprised to see a posting on Facebook to our local association that there's been a swarm already captured. I thought it was kind of early in the year for this part of the country. I wasn't expecting to hear of swarms until next month. There is still the possibility of frost around here.

We had several days of 65 F To 70 F weather, but the last two days in the low 50 F and below freezing at night??? Today in the 60 F's and they just brought my fertilizer wagon ( i call it the PERRY wagon) so i know what i'll be doing the next two days  Jack
PS no swarms here yet.

I caught a swarm on 3-24-16 and had a call of one that had moved into a house on 3-26-16. Went to see the one in the house and sure enough, scheduled the cut out for this morning but when we got there they had absconded.
I have already made 10 splits a week ago.

The Perry wagon eh? Never knew you to need a wagon to do that Jack.

I wonder if its swarms or bees absconding/leaving their location to find a better home?
