Here I go, stirring it up. Don't forget to read the comments, even the ones that will eventually appear slagging me. It is the price one pays for taking a stand.

Way to go Perry, one have to make a stand some where and if you don't do it who will, for beetles are no laughting matter for they put a lot of stress on the bees and we the beekeeper and put a lot more cost on us also.

Give em both barrels Perry. Their inspection process sounds like a farce, you just can't pull the lid on all and do full spot check inspections on hives to declare a shipment beetle free.
The only reason the beetles are at the top is because they've been herded up there by the bees, otherwise they'd be down in the comb looking for a place to do their dirt to a hive. They're just like any vermin, if you see one it's a safe bet you've got ten or more.
