Title: A long shot!
Post by: Perry on January 12, 2014, 06:37:51 am
I remember posting this way back a few years ago. I wonder with all the new folks I've had the pleasure of meeting since then, perhaps someone, somewhere, might recognize one of these sitting somewhere in a field. It seems to me it would serve it's purpose just as well as the new EZ Loaders that go for the 10's of thousands.

I think Bruce (aka Sundance) told me he had one of these in North Dakota.

hrm...  Now that you mention it....  I know where a pallet truck is sitting...  used at a sod farm, they used it to lift the pallets of sod onto the bed...  its a early 70's C30 iirc...   Think I'm going to go see if its still sitting out there in the weeds....

Hey tec.
Does he still use it, or is it rusting away in a field? (The hoist part, not worried about the truck).

they are not that expensive or difficult to build. 12 V ATV winch barn door track and pair of rollers, 3 cable pulleys and a little steel and welding.
