1st year bee keeper,  Successfully wintered 2 hives and 1 swarm....getting two new NUCS this weekend EXCITED  :)

Greetings from the South Shore of Nova Scotia.  You will be amazed by the amount of information and knowledge you will find here.  Your questions will be answered that's for sure.  We are in our third year of bee-keeping and I try to visit here daily just to see what I can learn.  Welcome!!

Welcome aboard.  If you have successfully wintered two hives in Nova Scotia, you are ahead of us Texans that can winter bees with almost no honey reserves.  As Perry says, there is getting to be a good crowd of beekeepers in Nova Scotia.  You will have a lot of local support.  Again, we are glad to have you join us.  Keep on posting!
