All year I have been organizing a Honey Harvest Festival. We have some really cool vendors, the President of the Bee Association and a BBQ open mike at the end of the day. Would love to meet some Nova Scotia bee keepers there ;)
The start time is 10am and it is rain or shine, we have a really cool boathouse that will be open and a great view of the Avon River!
Place - Avon River Heritage Museum, Avonport/Newport Landing. This is a fundraiser for the museum. All proceeds from food sales, vendor table fees and donations go to the museum!

Wishing that it all comes together as you want it. It will be a great day. Don't sweat the small stuff.

I truly wish I could attend. I have only visited Canada twice, and both times was in Calgary. I have worked with lots of Canadian oil companies and drilling companies. I love the Canadian people. Do you remember Ann Murray singing, "Please Don't Sell Nova Scotia." I'm glad she prevailed.

Have some fun for me.

Well today is the morning after the festival. I am happy to report that it was a huge success! After me fretting and pulling my hair out, it went off without a hitch. I tasted Perry's honey in the mead made by the winery! It is so good, I bought 2 bottles for later. We had about 300 attendees, not too bad for a small community and it being it's inaugural year! Looks like everyone wants this to go on next year and all the vendors are wanting first dibs.

Congratulations!

It went well because your prior preparations prevented poor performance. Well done save your notes. ;D

Good Job and vigorous back pats to you, Michelle! :)
