I just finished making this honey warmer.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEvRAqP2eXY&list=UU8HLlTQi_AbllvR-SBF8sRQ&feature=c4-overview
I did not wish to purchase the wrap around bucket heater as it could not heat what I had already bottled.
I wanted something that I could heat a 5-gallon bucket of honey as well as bottled honey.
A friend of mine converted an old refrigerator into a honey warmer. I did not want anything quite that big.
I never liked putting my unsold bottled honey in warm water to de-crystallize as I usually already labeled them and the labels would smear in the water.
This gizmo I found on Youtube from http://www.michiganbees.org was exactly what I was looking for. It was simple to build as well.
Here is mine:

Haven't gotten far enough for something like that but I bookmarked the video for when the time comes. Thanks Jim.

Lets not go crazy here Perry, but it is a very good video. I made one of them several years ago that is bigger, it will hold 2 five gal. buckets, it has two 100 watt. bulbs in the bottom of it with a thermostat in the top (bought from Kelly's) that i set on 90F with two 5 gal. buckets in it over night before we bottle our honey. The honey flows faster and i don't have problems with bubbles, They are something every hobby beekeeper should have. jmho, Jack
PS. i stocked up on 100 watt bulbs. ;D

We made one off the same plans a few years ago.
Still have the same light bulbs we started with too.
This is a simple unit that we use for 5 gallon buckets, jars, and honey frames.
Rolls around on casters and was much cheaper that a bucket heater.

Made mine last night from the same plans...

Hi Don. I am really glad to hear of your success with this project. I thought it was a fun, inexpensive project that even a guy like me couldn't screw up. I use mine all the time.
