Interesting idea for about the same price as an OA vaporizer

The cost is $92.00 USD + shipping.  The device has to be left in place for 25 days.  It's been proven that, if necessary, all hives in an apiary should be treated.  That is a little too expensive for me.  :o  Sounds very cool if it works.

If I get a really big one can I use it on my garden?
I am glad the really smart people are still looking anywhere for anything that can help us.

When bee keepers get to work on a problem, there's no limit to the ingenious inventions they can come up with.
I wonder if anyone is working on trying different wave-lengths of light to control the varroa?
What bothers me is that it doesn't reach 100% kill.  Amything less than that can serve as a selective pressure that will lead eventually to  new resistance in the mites.

I wonder what the unintended consequences are.
