I'm reviewing a case record this morning and found an updated form in the record from the Parole Board. What caught my eye was the section called "Case types." They have the following types of cases:
Sex Offender
Bench Warrant Case
3G (a kind of felony case)
Current Assaultive Conviction
... etc.
I know what most of these are.
And then I saw this one listed:
"PIA"
This one left me scratching my head. :eusa_think:
And then it came to me! They are finally calling the guy for what he is, a ...
Pain In the A**.

well, he probably is a PIA!........... :D
PIA stands for PUBLIC INFORMATION ACT......or public information request. here is a link to PIA state of texas wm:

just trying to be helpful, court records can be cryptic when you read them.
someone or some entity requested records so the court administrator made the notation on the record......PIA........just take a red pen and insert an i.........
