When doing a split to prevent swarming, moving original queen with beesan resources. In parent (donor) hive if it has swarm cells and your introducing a caged queen do you destroy swarm cells , leave them or cut out and try to raise ?

HI Mikey!

I have removed the cells, just in case of one of them coming out and killing the new queen,

I do not like destroying queen cells if I don't have to, so I will cut them out and place in splits or incubate until
they hatch then place caged queens in splits.

Always remove queen cells when introducing a caged queen.
