I am posting these pics for feedback because I am not sure what I am looking at out of this nuc

I'm not sure, but looks like wet capping to me. Hopefully someone with experience will chime in.

It could be that you have stores from 2 sources on the frame.

If you gently put the back of your hand onto the cluster of bees some will move away. This will allow you to see the cells under them.

Yes, it looks like two different cappings of honey there.  Sometimes bees leave air under the cap and it looks different than when the capping touches the honey.  If you blow gently on the bees, they will  move away from your breath so you can see what is in the cells beneath.  You are looking under there for eggs and larva.  You might also see pollen in the cells next to the capped honey.   :)

If you have regular frames with honey on the outer upper and pollen below it and eggs below that don't be too concerned. It looks that are packing away honey maybe some old honey left also.

i think vv, you have older capped honey/syrup and freshly capped honey/syrup.  any dark portions are honey/syrup that has been capped for some time and anything lighter in color is more recent.  what positions are all of these frames in?
