Title: Pollen Patties & MAQS
Post by: Blair Sampson on May 09, 2017, 08:19:12 am
I have been feeding my hives pollen patties since early spring. General practice is to continue feeding these patties until they no longer take them. I'm now about to do mite treatments with MAQS. Can both products be in the hive at the same time without causing harm to the bees?

This issue may be addressed on the label.  I remember reading about feeding problems after MAQS application but I think it was with sugar syrup.  I wouldn't do it.  :)

Plenty of pollen coming in now Blair, you can stop feeding patties. Once you start feeding syrup, don't stop until they stop taking it, not pollen. Both are in good supply now.
