Post by: Nugget Shooter on June 06, 2017, 03:14:34 pm
Hi All, we do not have beetles here, but I know the fellow that makes these shims and folks swear by them! May help you... Go to www.blockthebeetle.com (http://www.blockthebeetle.com)

From Clark Taplin below, They were asking about it at another forum so I contacted him and he replied,

I'm the manufacturer of the Beetle Blocker Shims....
They absolutely work!
Over 2000 sold and not a single complaint.....
Go to www.blockthebeetle.com (http://www.blockthebeetle.com) to find out how they work.
Or feel free to contact me at: 615-390-7556

Might be a nice alternative to my Freeman Beetleboards.  I should put one under one of the hives and see which works better.

I like the Freemans and recommend them to my friends.  But, the trays sometimes get smelly if the oil isn't changed often.  And soapy water evaporates within a few days during the summer.
