Title: Supersedure Cells
Post by: Blair Sampson on June 08, 2017, 12:59:43 pm
One of my hives has several supersedure cells. When compared to the light colour of most the cells, a few of these cells are fairly brown at the capped end. Is this any kind of indication? Good, bad or simply a natural occurrence?

The very tips of cells turn dark brown as the wall gets thin as the queen chews it out. Those cells are ready to hatch.
