Title: Skunked!

In a panic at 4:00 a.m. I went to Google to find a skunk bath remedy, I have to say this process worked very, very well.  I stood on the deck watching Lizzie get nailed in the face twice.  That's one way to get your husband up and out of bed LOL!

We tried that recipe on our dachshund the first time he got skunked ... three times!

He still smelled.

The second time he got skunked, we used the dog shampoo we had on hand, and it worked great after only one application.

Wandering man, there was a very faint odor in one spot after we were done.  Considering she got sprayed twice, I think that was a good result.  Gave her another bath on Friday and she is almost odor free.  I am quite sure if she gets soaked in the rain, it will return.
