While looking at their site for a friend, I noticed that Maxant is offering free shipping right now:
FREE SHIPPING ON ALL MODEL 3100 EXTRACTORS — PHONE ORDERS ONLY — CONTINENTAL U.S. ONLY — OFFER ENDS FEB 28, 2014.
-
Thanks, I will go there tomorrow and order.

Hmmm . . . I'll have to check that out. Need a motor for my nine-frame. Planning on having too much to crank by hand this year!
-
Too bad for me. Looks like it's only good for complete extractors. Not motors . . .
-
Call Jake. He may make an exception if you have the hand crank 3100.
-
Since the free shipping is until the end of the month I am waiting until next Tuesday to order that way I will probably get it when My wife is working figuring out her work schedule.

Well I couldn't wait any longer so I order a Maxant 3100p today and ask them to ship out tomorrow and they said they would, let you know about it when it arrives.

You're getting a quality machine. ;)
-
I've taken a close look at the 3100. they are built stoutly.
-
I haven't nuked my 20 frame extractor yet...and it's been 5 yrs. My tank is over 20 yrs old I bet.
-
You'll like the 3100. Super strong, extracts efficiently, and it is made in the USA. Good folks to work with at Maxant. Had to build a riser under the legs so I could completely fill a 5 gallon pail. The filter hangs down in the pail and makes it impossible to fill the pail to 60 pounds so I have a lift on the filter to get it up higher on the pail allowing it to fill. The legs are not long enough to get the pail and riser under the flow gate. With that adjustment it works perfectly.

I am very satisfied with mine, too. Good customer service. I mounted mine on a pallet for those "not-so-balanced" times. ;)

Boy I just made it without my wife knowing, I sure though the bad weather was against me on deliver, but I got it today. My wife worked last night and had a doctor appointment and went to bed to get some rest and sleep, so it got here while she was. Well I was going to put it together while at doc.. She woke up to late to go to doctor so all I got to do was look at it, sure is nice. will try to have picture maybe wed or Thursday when she is sleeping again, want to give it a spend. Reason I don't want her to know I get something is I can explain it better when it is already here, should have listen in on the bandsaw I got last year that I order and not say anything to her about it.

LOL ken!........... :D :D :D
-
Atta boy Ken, you show her who's boss! ;) :D

ROFL!!
"WHERE did you get that extractor?"
"What? That? I've had that for ages, don't you remember talking with me about it?"
Eyes narrow... "No!!"
"Dang woman.. I count on you to remember this stuff cuz you KNOW I can't!!"
Jaw clenches.. the great mass of muscle along her jaw ripples as her gaze shifts back and forth.. I feel like I am in a tree stand looking at a tirty point Boone and Crocket buck through my sites.. heart pounding as she turns away JUST in time for me to wipe the sweat drip from my nose before she sees it...... She closes the door, sort of hard... My knees are weak, I feel faint... But the mission was a SUCCESSSSSSS!
yep, been there!

Ok got the extractor set up, ran good at all speeds, just wish I had frames of honey in it, but will be ready when I do. Tried 4 times could not get picture to upload, do I have to go to postimage.cc to load a picture.
Ken

I use photobucket, it's way easier.
-
Use the link "add image to post" above the window where you type your message. Don't forget to click on "upload it".
-
O Ok did that even a few times this morning and still would not upload, still postimage comes up.

I don't know what you are missing. Maybe riverbee or someone can help. Hopefully one of them that uploads a lot of pics will be along shortly.
-
When you click on the button "Add image to post" are you telling it to resize your image for the board or leaving it set to Do not resize my image? I think you also have to check the family safe line..
If that doesn't help I am lost too.
