Q is laying 5 frames big time on the right side, she's on the cold side ?
Is there a reason, just seems odd that 1 Q would do that.?

What is the bee population like? Bees covering 7 or 8 frames? the queen will only lay frames that the bees can cover and they won't move off the brood. Shift some frames to move the cluster over to the center.

I Just remember iddee always said , the nest is at entrance

She's covering (capp brood) 4 frames in bottom, and 3 on top, but to the right side ?

7 frames of brood is not bad for going into fall and to have a healthy winter bee population. If the rest of the frames are filled with honey I would be happy. if they are un-drawn foundation I would remove them and make it a single or 5 over 5 nuc, or 6 over 6 with a follower boards.

Mikey,
Without hijacking your thread, what winter configuration do you use? You're the closest person to me on this board...thanks

Smokey,
Hopefully with 2 or 1 Ten frame brood chambers.
