Saw this sweet bee wandering about the frames. Is she an old nurse bee? her fur is faded and her wings are not tattered from foraging and dodging telephone poles.
Or, could she be a brand new furry new born bee?

My money is on a new bee. Me and my son like watching them emerge and that's how I've noticed them looking.nic picture :yes:

I agree with Green Bee, a new merged honey bee is fussy, but when beekeeper's like Perry who gets fussy at times, it means he's OLD. :laugh: Jack
