I think you're looking up from the bottom. There is light coming in, so I think there must be a top entrance.

Thanks for posting WanderingMan. Wow! Look at those loaded pollen baskets. There is a lot that can be learned about hive behavior from watching this. Notice how there greet pollen carriers and help unload the pollen? I see Daisy Chains going on. I believe that means they are producing wax. Fascinating. This is the coolest!

Actually, this bear den is in a tree in Glacier National Park. So those bees are pretty safe. The cub is pretty cute, but he or she doesn't stick his/her head out of the hole very often.
