Simple recipe:

1. wheel brie cheese
2.  pan roasted walnuts or pecans(frying pan, a little oil)
3.  crumble the nuts over the brie
4.  drizzle with honey.
5.  serve with crackers.

*pinch of black pepper & salt on nuts after they're roasted.

beer or wine?  :)

It depends on what profile/flavor the honey has.

Kirschwasser is the way to go if you want my professional opinion(if you can find the pure stuff/that's not sugared up with flavoring).  I like the stuff out of switzerland & austria.

I am impressed  :) although I prefer serbian shine, double distilled 90 proof, full flavour. Cherries cheaper than sugar.

I have to admit I am not a big cheese eater.  Maybe it was growing up on Velveeta that turned me sour.  I will be giving this a try this next time I need to take something to a family function.  It will be appreciated there.

I just found two versions of cheese and honey, one with parmiggiano reggiano, the other with gorgonzola plus a little pear "and a sip of tawny port…divine." I can't wait to try it!
