Title: Got 2 NUCs

picked up to nucs yesterday, couldn't inspecting them way I would like to because it was raining
because it wasn't nuc thought I could get away with no smoker, did remember the veil and wound up having to remember the smoker lol girls were a little testy in the rain and overcast.

Ahhhh Florida. Nucs are available up here in maybe May.  :D

yeah down here we're just about ready to get started in 2 maple,  oak, and in fairly short order citrus so even if I get no honey from the bees at all, they should build up very quickly. the thing that we  down here in Florida have to worry about is after this spring and early summer flows it will be next to nothing until mid August early September and that assumes the weather promotes it, and if that's light you can starve the bees  pretty quick so having feed available is essential.

the girls are up and flying very well the temperature finally climbed above 50, interesting, they seem to be ignoring the sugar syrup which means there must be plenty of nectar.
