Thanks Bakers.  3Reds did bake me a cake, and it was great.  With just two of us in the house, we have a tough time eating a whole cake before it goes stale.  So she froze half of it, and will bring it out in two weeks to celebrate her birthday.  I find it appropriate that she gets to celebrate her birthday on "Labor Day."
