Title: Rare sighting in my neighborhood
Post by: Bakersdozen on November 14, 2019, 05:40:53 am
I was thrilled to see this Eagle while walking the dog yesterday evening. We do have Eagles that migrate to this area, but not usually in my neighborhood.

My dog was not impressed.

Yes, they are beautiful, but be careful. They have been known to take dogs as large as Cocker Spaniels.

What a blessing! I love the raptors, have even considered falconry.

Check this out Baker. I looked up Eagle in my medicine cards...

"When Eagle pays you a visit, Eagle is reminding you to take heart and gather your courage, for the universe is presenting you with an opportunity to soar above the mundane levels of your life.

Thanks, Jen.  Yes, it was a blessing.  It was the highlight of my day.
"soar above the mundane..."  I will have to remember that.
