I was beginning to wonder but my bees finally decided to pull comb and are socking it full of nectar. Palmetto is going to bloom this next week so I will have to add another super. I already had extracted a super per hive by this time last year and they refilled the sticky's that I then left over the summer for them. But, this has been a very dry spring. Different queens this year too. They were a LOT hotter bees last year too.

Good deal!!!! Dandelions etc have JUST popped here and the bees are going berserk... Lots of bees are WAY calmer int he spring than they are in the fall.. if they get roobed out in the fall they die, in the spring.. they have time to replace what is lost, so they are not usually as aggressive or defensive. Glad to hear your bees are kicking in the afterburners!

Hot last spring too. Can't mate queens here, I think the drones genetics are too hot. I have to take them to my house in mid-state and use Miksa's drones.
