Title: Difference Between Brood Patties and Pollen Patties

How are they different? Plus there are winter patties, spring patties?

winter patties have a higher carb vs protein ratio. my experience with pollen substitutes is that hives beetles love them & the bees mostly ignore them.

Hi Rober, I've been using winter and spring patties for years and the bees eat it right up. No beetles yet.

if you keep rubbing it in that you do not have hive beetles I'm going to mail you a few hundred of them!!  ;D
