Title: Honey sweetened spiced sausage(like breakfast maple), made with wild game?

As greasy as rabbit and squirrel meat is...Have any of you guys taken either, and made wildlife sausage?  Or does rabbit & squirrel fat leave you with a waxy mouth fell like barbeque deer ribs?
