I wasn't sure if it was posted here or not but know that several here knew Al and would probably want to know about his passing.

Yes, thank you for letting us know.  I appreciate it.  Based upon his last post, a few months ago, I would say that he had been feeling very melancholy.  God bless Al.

Thank you for posting.  Cancer can be very painful, at least he is at rest and out of pain.

I will miss his photos of wanderings thru his property when his lands were in bloom. I will also miss his tales when he would bring home his fresh kill for dinner... gophers, small birds, ground hogs, I think there was a porcupine simmering in the pot in one story. No Burger King For Al!  :D
