Such unfortunate news for Australian beekeepers. Hopefully they can get it under control somehow before it spreads. :sad:

I'm pretty sure it's happened once or twice before that they had an infiltration and were able to destroy all the infected hives. I saw an old article from like 2014 talking about it, but there was speculation it was Varroa jacobsoni and not Varroa destructor, which would be easier to get a handle on.
