Title: Opossum Poop

here's first for me. an Opussum left a pile of poo on top of one of my hives.

i'm curious as to his motivation for climbing atop the hive. maybe a residual odor of burr comb. i occasionally catch one in a live trap & i can attest to the fact they are a skin covered poo bucket. they really befoul a trap. i've caught coons, skunks, wood chucks.... nothing poops as much as a opossum.

They of course loved my cat food in my barn, always put newspaper down and then live trap on top of.
