This presentation, by Dr. Lewis Bartlett, from the University of Georgia explains research being done to kill small hive beetle. The first 10 or so minutes is a great explanation of the SHB lifecycle. At 20 minutes he begins to explain the potential of hydrogen peroxide as a control. In the last 10 minutes he explains how Clorantrilioprole, used with in the hive, might be the solution to killing SHB but leaving the honey bees unharmed.
