Two storms, a day apart. The snow blower can only throw it so high! Running out of spots to put it. :D

the worst part is when it all melts off and causes flooding

Dang Perry.. I remember winters like that in Maine.. dont usually get that much snow here. Our problems come when we get two inches of snow, then the wind blows it all into 12 foot drifts..
Raining pretty good today, rained last night.. Pond is rapidly filling up as the rain melts the snow off. Might be one of those years the water goes over the dam. The lower pond is already overflowing.. but its OK, supposed to be COLD next week so it will all freeze... :'(

We've got the melt going on today. Almost 50 down here. Hopefully some of that will make it up to you before the next storm.

I feel for ya Perry! I grew up in snow like that. Hard on the spirit and the back.
-
Dang! Would you believe it is 70°F here right now.

Ditto here Perry. I have never been so sickhttp://www.worldwidebeekeeping.com/forum/Smileys/wBee/cry.gif of snow in my life. Blizzard conditions today most of it moving sideways >:( >:(

Snow like that would shut us down and paralyze us for weeks. We simply wouldn't have the equipment to handle it. If we got a snow storm and got 4 inches it was a heck of a storm. Have seen a couple times we got over 10 inches and can remember the storm of 78 that dumped 14 on us with 6 foot drifts from wind

Setting in a restaurant in Collins, Mo. a couple of years ago, a waitress i knew came to take my order. She looked out the window and said, Oh, look at those big beautiful snow flakes coming down, (the first snow of the season) i agreed, even though i Hate Snow. A month later, same restaurant, and waitress, came to take my order, stood and looked out the window and said, hades, hear comes some more of that white Crap. Women are hard to please.   Jack
