There are certainly lots of easier ways to create a watering station for your bees but a lot of thought went into this and it's pretty cool.  The last part of the video explains the why's. where's, when's, and things to avoid.  So, if a non-beekeeper is interested in helping the bees you could send them the link to this video or post on social media.

Great design... I love Dadant! We have one about 3 1/2 hours from our town.
