Hello, my name is Jonathan and this is my and my wife's first year on raising honeybees. So far so good we bought a nuc during mid summer in 2013 and so this will be our first spring as beekeepers. We hope to be able to learn alot about being homesteaders/beekeepers in this forum.

Welcome Jonathon now I got that song running thru my head. glad you found us and good luck with your bees. It sounds like you have one hive from last year This is the year to split and go up to 2 hives so you have support if the other hive needs resources, and a comparison between the 2 hives. Members here will be glad to guild you thru the process.

Hey there...Johnny and Wifey.
I'm right up the road from you. Season is not being the best right now for our area. But hopefully soon it straightens out for the ladies to really get busy. If y'all would like someone to shadow you or would like to get your hands in more or just watch some inspections let me know. I'm east rowan area.
