This app was mentioned at last night's local bee club meeting.  It's free to download from Google Play store.  It works by taking a picture of a bee, any bee, and the app will identify which bee it is.  It can also mark your location or you can manually enter your location.  Some native bees only travel a few feet to forage for food.  This would be great to know you have a nest somewhere on your property.

Interesting.  I wonder how accurate it is.  Guess there is only one way to find out.  :)
