Found this at an antique store

Any idea on how I can tell if this is an original or a good reproduction?

You can look on the back of it first.. most reprints are stamped as such somewhere with the date. if there is nothing there you will have to have someone knowledgeable check it out.
My Grandfather started a JD Dealership here in this small town when he came back from WW2, so my parents have quite a few old prints. Unfortunately, while I was away in the Navy JD decided to close down all dealerships that were not in the county seats.. so despite having the highest sales and satisfaction rating in the state.. the family business was closed.

Good score! If you like it, it doesn't really matter what it's worth. That's the thing about antiques, their actual value only comes to mind if you ever intend on selling them.

Hate that about the family business Lazybkpr. Bummer. Thanks for the advice on the date. I'll look at it next week when I'm back in town.

Perry, good point. They were asking $60 and I'm going to offer them $30 just to see if they are willing to deal.

I don't have a clue, but even the reproductions would be worth 30 bucks I would think.  That being said, I really like that. The frame and subject matter is my style. I hope to fix my sons up with just such a woman :)

Do they even make them like that anymore?

  Bamma any luck?

The store was closed last week when we were nearby and won't be back in town again until this weekend. Hope to check it out again then. I'll let you know.
