Is it just me or does that like it might be more difficult to get than you think? I would love to see pics of the actual swarm capture. It looks like quite a puzzle.  :)

tbone- ""Is it just me or does that like it might be more difficult to get than you think? I would love to see pics of the actual swarm capture. It looks like quite a puzzle.""

I've caught two in a cedar tree, one was easy one was Not. And one that landed on the ground which I blessed the gods for until I had to take so much time scooping them up off of ground with them running all over the place, and while scooping a lot of holly leaves as well. I was getting stung by bees and pricked by holly leaves. Much debri went back to the house with that swarm and more time picking out the debri ~ But still... I enjoy it  ;) 8)

Not a puzzle at all. Two snips and the box slid in underneath. One shake , and almost ALL bees in the box, including the Queen. Waited a little while for the stragglers, and closed her up and headed home! Was working alone, so no pics of the actual capture. Couldn't have asked for better!
