Cracker has a friend who is in love with his. I think he even belongs to a Big Green Egg club.

I've heard good things about the Green Egg.  We made an Italian brick oven.  Love it!

My daughter's boyfriend has one of those eggs.  He darn near swoons when he speaks of it.

I don't have one, but I've used one a few times.  They seem to produce a pretty even heat and hold/maintain the temperature well, even if only a low heat once the shell warms up.  My issues with them are the size(s) and weight.  If you ever have to move it, a certain amount of care for yourself and the egg needs to be taken.  You don't want that bad larry tipping over!  The other issue I have is the size...  Quite often if I'm grilling or smoking, it's for enough people that I don't find the Green Eggs to be very practical.  ~ That's my two-cents... take it, or leave.  I won't be offended either way :)

Thanks for all your replies. Everyone who owns one around here loves it as well. I wonder if my wife wants one for our 40th anniversary coming up next month?

I got the Large big Green eggs.  I would give up my kids before the Egg would go.They are the bomb and worth every penny you spend on them.  There is a reason you dont see used eggs for sale. ;)

Nope, in fact she never has but I think she would like having a Big Green Egg.  And if by chance she didn't, then I would reluctantly use it. ;D
