Are Frames supposed to look like this ???
« on: May 27, 2014, 08:55:30 pm »
Before the end of MAY !

I am so thrilled with the way they are putting it up!

Just felt like I had to get some out so that they can store more. I'm out of supers. Guess I better get more!

They May 'Look' Good! But is the honey Good? I nominate myself as the forums official honey sampler. It is my duty to test all honey before the beeks do, to make sure... ya know... it's not poisonous or flawed in any way ya see...

From some conversations I had with beeks today, we are having quite the honey flow here in NC and the tulip poplars are just now starting to bloom where I'm at. Everything has been two weeks to a month behind.

Last year this time, I had a deep box of frames like that.  This year nothing.  Everything is at least two weeks late it seems and we just has a week of rain.
My advice: worth price charged :)

Extracting is exactly what i'm up doing this morning. Have to get to it.
Jen, Sampling is what many want to do  :D   You got your crush and strain going before me, now I'm playing catch-up ! :P
I got the first taste of this year when I started pulling the frames yesterday afternoon. So many have been asking, that I'm certain to run out again. With any luck....it won't be for awhile !  ;D
Best wishes for the rest as you progress with the season!!!

You will really enjoy the process of uncapping those fat combs.  There's nothing like the enjoyment you get from lifting a frame that's filled out beyond its' borders and then cutting it back to size in one pass of the uncapping knife.  Of course, there's a chance you might enjoy the honey too.... :)....but that's another story.

Beautiful frames some of those look good enough to enter into a honey competition.
