A young lad won the local 4-h milking contest.
He was quoted as saying afterwords "I owe my success to udders"
Keeping of bees is like the direction of sunbeams.

Did he win by actually hand milking or was it that his cow produced the most milk at the best quality Ie: percentage of butter fat?

Well in that case it comes down to the size of the teats on the cow. When milking by hand was the way it was done by both my grand fathers, a cow with small teats and hard to milk was not kept. Now with the use of milking machines the teat size has shrunk so it is hard to get 2 fingers on some of them now.
