capn, all you have to do, if you are searching for something, is go to the home page, type in your search query above the 'donate button', and hit enter, and you will be given all the posts/threads on what you are looking for.  so, for example, this topic, 'bear fence'.....



you will find this thread and a number of others.

i use electric fencing to keep the bears out, and if i didn't, i wouldn't be able to keep bees.

I know about the search.  I use it frequently   Because of the way the results show up, and because of my complete and utter lack of memory, I find it easier to find the topics I'm looking for if I've commented in them.  Thanks for the help, though!

I have used the same technique to find threads. at times. some times a search doesn't yield the results we were looking for.
