Greetings from Vermont
« on: July 11, 2014, 10:03:43 pm »
Hello all
Just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself. I live just outside Burlington VT. Been keeping bees as a hobby for several years. Worked with my Dad and his bees back in the early 70's.
I learn more each day so I look forward to sharing and learning with all of you here.
Oh I also enjoy collecting old beekeeping items.
David

Wow what a warm reception
Thank you all. I enjoy reading where everyone is from, amazing!
I should have asked for a babysitter for my girls this week. I'm over on the Maine coast and there all alone back in VT. They're pretty well behaved (Mike Palmer bees).
Apisbees I'm sorry to say pop passed many years ago. But he left me with the passion for beekeeping that lives on in me, and my son.

liked how you said 'passion', agreed......keeping bees for me is really not a 'hobby', it's a passion!
